'Teaching Websites' uses Google Analytics to track and monitor statistics about visits to the site. No personal information is collected by these cookies. They are used to collect general information about use of our site, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page. To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites, Google provide this browser add-on which you can install on your computers.
2) Embedded resources
A number of the resources on Teaching Ideas may be embedded, with permission, from other third party services. Each of these services have their own pages giving information about privacy and cookies (i.e. Google Docs, Youtube, Vimeo and Slideshare).
Social Networks
We have pages / accounts on a number of popular social networks. We use these to share ideas, resources and links with our followers. These pages are hosted on the social networks, so visitors will not receive cookies unless they visit the sites of each social network.
